Lynne Waymon is the CEO of Contacts Count, a nationwide training
and consulting firm that specializes in helping clients put the
tools of networking to work in the service of business and career
goals. Lynne is the co-author of 5 books on networking. The most
recent is Make Your Contacts Count (2nd
edition, AMACOM). She is also the co-author of an Executive Presentation
called How the Unconnected Employee Hurts Your Business.
Contacts Count provides training programs, workshop, webinars,
and keynotes. They also license their Contacts Count materials for
internal use (including a train-the-trainer program ) to clients
such as Lockheed Martin, the U.S. Senate, and George Mason University.
Recent training clients are Booz Allen, Raytheon, Kraft, PricewaterhouseCoopers,
Heery International, Deloitte Touche, Corning, DuPont, Georgetown
University, George Washington University, the National Geographic
Society, more than 10 government agencies, and numerous associations.
In addition to teaching networking as a critical competency, Lynne
also designs and delivers keynotes and training programs on negotiating
skills, presentation skills, and career development.
