LINDY WILLIAMS
Lindy
has worked with organizations ranging from banking & financial services
to engineering firms and government agencies on the design and implementation
of powerful new approaches to managing change, developing & retaining
talent and creating development-focused, resilient work environments.
Her clients have been awarded the Workforce Optimas Award and the ASTD
Excellence in Practice Award in recognition of programs she helped them
develop.
Drawing on 25 years of corporate experience, Lindy offers a front line
perspective to discussions of needs analysis and potential solutions to
organizational challenges. As Director of WorldWide Career Development
for a major financial services firm, Lindy worked with colleagues around
the globe to introduce a uniform career development and planning process
aligning organizational goals and employee learning objectives. Her extensive
background in training, human resource development, and career development
enables her to integrate solutions with critical internal support processes
to facilitate group problem-solving efforts.
A gifted speaker, workshop facilitator, career coach and author, Lindy
has been a conference presenter for the International Quality & Productivity
Center, the Association of Corporate Travel Executives, the American Society
for Training and Development, the Society for Human Resources Management,
and Training Magazine’s annual meeting of training and
human resource development professionals. Recent clients include Johnson
& Johnson, Merck, Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky Aircraft, National Imagery
& Mapping Agency (NIMA), the U.S. Navy, Caterpillar, McDonald’s,
Merrill Lynch, and XEROX. Her facilitation experience includes coordination
of project team initiatives and delivery of workshops in Europe and Asia/Pacific
locations as well as sites throughout the U.S. She is a contributing author
to the book, HR in the 21st Century, released by Wiley &
Sons publishers in 2nd quarter of 2003.
