CURNOW
Karen Curnow has provided cultural diversity, leadership development, and international management consulting, coaching, and training in the U.S. and overseas since 1980. Having worked and lived in France, Turkey, Kenya, Austria, and New York prior to her work in the D.C. area, Ms. McCluskey has served as consultant, university professor, training manager for a large corporation, and writer/reporter for an international magazine.
Clients Karen has served include: Boeing, Crown Central Petroleum, Nortel, Exxon, Fluor Daniel, Lucent Technologies, the Department of State, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Agriculture, U.S. Agency for International Development, U.S. Air Force, and many other corporate, university, and local and Federal government organizations. Karen's publications include: Notes from a Traveling Childhood (book on the impact of international mobility on children), chapter activities in Tools and Activities for a Diverse Work Forc, "Gender at Work" (cover article for Public Management magazine on the impact of gender on workplace communication), and a variety of magazine articles on international management.
Karen's earned her M.B.A. in International Management and Marketing from U.S. International University (Nairobi) and her B.S. in Business Administration and French at Houghton College and at the Sorbonne/ University of Paris. In addition, Karen received her certification in Coaching and Organizational Learning from The Newfield Network-USA and George Mason University.
