JAN BOXER
Jan Boxer is the Career Development Practice Leader for Strategic Partners, Inc. She advises executives on employment issues related to development, retention and separation. She coaches managers in dealing with the development of high potential employees, those overcoming performance problems, and those impacted by restructuring, demotion or job loss.
In addition to managing several large corporate career transition contracts, Ms. Boxer trains professionals within organizations, who have career advising responsibility, to more confidently take on the requirements of coaching and counseling in their daily work. She also serves on the faculty of Georgetown University's Executive Coaching Advanced Certificate Program. Jan is a certified administrator of Career Architect, a 360o multi-rater feedback instrument, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Ms. Boxer is also an accomplished platform trainer and curriculum designer experienced in addressing audiences at all levels.
Her client list includes many well established organizations with long-tenured employee populations such as: AT&T Global Information Solutions, Bell Atlantic, Crown Central Petroleum, Inc., ManorHealth Care Services, Inc., Marriott International Inc., McCormick & Company, Inc., U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Public Health Service Corps, and the U.S. Postal Service
Jan earned a Masters degree in Human Development and Education from George Washington University.
