BONNIE HOLLOWAY
Bonnie has over 30 years of experience in human resources, specializing in the area of professional development administration, training design and delivery, and leadership coaching. Instructional areas include a broad spectrum of courses related to management and leadership, including coaching skills, verbal and written communications, negotiation and conflict management, and areas related to human resource management, such as interviewing, performance counseling, and individual development plan guidance. She also provides instruction to technicians who are called upon to delivery training. This work includes workshop design and presentation skills for the classroom.
As former Director of Professional Development for a bureau of the U.S. Treasury Department, her skills include management of professional and technical staff involved in new employee orientation, identification and training of mentors, curriculum design and development, implementation of technical, administrative, and management training programs, technical staff testing and certification, completion of in-depth competency studies followed by implementation of 360-Degree Feedback program, development of resource materials to support competency models, monitoring of budget, and serving as liaison to development staffs at other federal agencies.
As a graduate of the Georgetown University Leadership Coaching Certificate program, Bonnie served as an internal coach to managers and executives within the bureau. Since establishing her own practice, Bonnie has provided coaching to clients from both the private and public sector. She specializes in coaching managers working to implement organizational initiatives, in transition, or at the beginning of new projects. Her approach emphasizes assisting managers in exploring situations from various perspectives, applying a logical decision-making process that anticipates and plans for obstacles, and discussing the communication approach that will be necessary to carry out actions.
