VIRGINIA DIAMOND
Virginia
works with leaders to help them navigate complex challenges including
engaging and developing teams; balancing work and life; and collaborating
effectively in demanding environments with different personalities, generations,
and perspectives. Virginia helps her clients gain insight on the root
causes limiting performance, and then create and implement practical strategies
for lasting change. Her extensive background in coaching, organizational
development, and change management enables her to collaborate with clients
to take the steps necessary to translate potential benefits into reality.
Her services include team/organization assessments and action planning;
executive and emerging leader coaching; and facilitation/training to develop
people management skills.
Virginia’s clients have spanned the public and private sectors.
She has spent nine of the last 14 years consulting with the US Federal
government (e.g., National Institutes of Health, various Intelligence
agencies) and “quasi-Federal” clients (e.g., the Federal Deposit
Insurance Corporation and the US Holocaust Memorial Museum). Commercial
clients have included Constellation Energy and various (confidential)
IT firms.
Virginia has a BA from the University of Chicago in psychology and was
certified by Georgetown University in organizational development and change
management. Virginia earned the Professional Coach Certification from
the International Coach Federation and New Ventures West. Virginia is
certified to administer various 3600 assessment tools and the Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator. She is also certified to by William Bridges & Associates
to teach its Leading Organizational Transition seminar, and by Linkage
Inc to teach several of its people management and coaching courses. She
is a member of the National Organization Development Network and the International
Coach Federation.
